How delivery works after you place an order
Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, our team in Midrand prepares it for dispatch. Stock is checked, items are picked, and your parcel is packed for courier collection. If an item needs extra handling, such as gift wrapping or a bulk order split into more than one parcel, this is done before the order leaves our base.
Orders are sent on business days only. Cut-off times can affect when your parcel moves out, so if you order later in the day or just before a weekend, dispatch may happen on the next working day. During busy periods such as month-end, public holidays and seasonal sale days, it may take a little longer to process orders.
- Order confirmed
- Stock checked and packed
- Parcel handed to a courier
- Tracking details shared once available
Courier timelines by major delivery area
Most metro deliveries arrive within 2 to 5 business days after dispatch, depending on the route and the courier network. Areas such as Johannesburg, Pretoria, the East Rand and West Rand are often quicker than outlying areas, while Cape Town, Durban and Gqeberha usually take a little longer because parcels travel between provinces.
Remote towns, estates with strict access control, and addresses that need extra route planning can add another day or two. Coastal humidity in places like Durban and Gqeberha is also one reason we use proper packing for sensitive items. If your parcel contains fragile kitchenware or compact gadgets, we make sure it is secured before it leaves.
- Johannesburg and Pretoria: often 2 to 3 business days after dispatch
- Midrand, East Rand and West Rand: often 1 to 3 business days after dispatch
- Cape Town, Durban and Gqeberha: often 3 to 5 business days after dispatch
- Outlying areas: allow extra time for final delivery runs
Tracking your parcel and staying updated
When your order is collected by the courier, tracking details are made available so you can follow the parcel in transit. This helps you see when the order leaves Midrand, reaches the main depot, and goes out for delivery in your area. If the parcel is moving across provinces, tracking is especially useful because timing may vary by depot handover and route planning.
Please check the tracking information regularly once it has been shared. If the courier needs directions, estate access instructions, or a gate code, make sure these are ready. A quick response can prevent delays, especially in busy business parks and residential complexes around Sandton, Centurion and Pretoria East.
- Watch for the dispatch update first
- Then follow depot scans and transit updates
- Check for any delivery call or access request
What to expect when the parcel arrives
Our couriers deliver during normal working hours, and someone may need to sign for the parcel or accept it at the address. Please make sure there is someone available on the day of delivery. If you are sending an order to a workplace, reception area or security counter, confirm that the parcel can be received there before the courier arrives.
Inspect the parcel as soon as you receive it. If the outer packaging looks damaged, note it at the time of delivery and keep the packaging until the contents have been checked. This makes it easier to deal with any delivery issue quickly and fairly.
- Keep your phone nearby on delivery day
- Make sure the address and unit number are clear
- Check the parcel before throwing away packaging
Delivery delays, failed attempts and address problems
Sometimes a parcel is delayed because of traffic, weather, load-shedding affecting depot systems, road closures, or incomplete address details. If a delivery attempt is made and no one is available, the courier may try again or ask for a new delivery arrangement depending on the route and service type. This can add time, so it helps to keep your contact details and delivery address accurate from the start.
If your parcel is going to a new development, a farm address, or a place with limited landmark detail, include clear directions in the enquiry form notes where possible. For municipal areas with access restrictions, security rules or delivery time windows, let us know early so we can pass that on.
- Use a full street address with suburb and postal code
- Include estate, unit, floor or complex details
- Tell us about any delivery restrictions before dispatch
Returns, damaged parcels and delivery queries
If something is not right with your delivery, contact us through the enquiry form on our contact page as soon as possible. Include your order number, the issue you noticed, and clear photos if the parcel arrived damaged. Our team will review the matter and guide you through the next steps, whether it is a tracking check, a delivery follow up or a returns request.
For returns assistance, please keep the item unused where possible and retain all packing materials until the matter is resolved. This is important for products like kitchenware, storage items and compact gadgets that need to be checked against the original condition. If you ordered more than one item, tell us exactly which parcel or product is affected so we can assist without delay.
- Send your order number in the enquiry form
- Attach photos for damaged or missing items
- Keep original packaging until the case is closed
